Whether young or old you will leave this character of a property and the surrounding magical Brittany region with happy memories.

Within the peaceful garden you have a wonderful gazebo, much admired by all who stay here. We supply sun loungers, chairs and a low table for your cold drinks. When the sun gets a little too hot be assured this is the place to be!

Our barbeque area is very popular and we provide all your barbeque utensils. Two large wooden picnic tables with sunshades are situated nearby.

Le Portail is a suitable base for exploring this magical region of Brittany. Normandy is only 5 minutes walk from Le Portail giving you chance to explore some rural countryside right on the doorstep.

Many clean beaches and secret coves are to be found within half an hour easy drive.

The famous Le Mont St. Michel is about 45 minutes drive away and is described as the Jewel of the Sea.

This wonderful building has to be seen whilst in this area and it is the second most visited place in France after The Eiffel Tower. Would you believe the entrance to this wonderful building is free. The only charge is a small fee to park your car.

The size of the above ground swimming pool is 6 x 4 metres and is 1.1 metre deep. We chose this particular pool after much consideration and are confident  it is ideal for children of all ages, but is also great for parents to enjoy too.

The surrounding decking area is unique because it was designed and built by us, the owners.  As is French law we have included a child security gate to ensure the safety of your youngest children.

A large assortment of pool toys are provided for your pleasure. There is also a smaller splashpool provided (on request) for really young children who may find our larger pool slightly daunting.
