The house is situated on the outskirts of a 3 star floral village, but is located only 5 minutes away from the A84 autoroute. Making a very good base for touring this magical region of Brittany and also Normandy which is 5 minutes walk from the house.

Within "Le Portail"  there will be helpful infomation in the form of brochures, leaflets and maps provided to us by the French Tourist Board. These are to help guide you towards the many places of interest for all ages, far too many to mention. Clean beaches and small coves are just a short pleasant drive away.

This magical region has many Summer activities to offer and these are changed each year. But be assured it will be our pleasure to provide that extra care and personal information to our guests, so whatever is going on during your particular week / fortnight you will know all about it.

We are very lucky to have good music festivals, fetes and shows taking place around the Fougeres Castle which is 10 minutes easy drive away. Have a wonderful evening meal at one of the many, many  restaurants by the castle and be entertained free!

The famous Le Mont St. Michel is about 45 minutes drive away and is described as the Jewel of the Sea. This wonderful building has to be seen whilst in this area and it is the second most visited place in France after The Eiffel Tower. Would you believe the entrance to this wonderful building is free. The only charge is a small fee to park your car.
